A Move Champion is the primary contact for the staff members of a business unit for the duration of the relocation. The Move Champions play a significant part in the relocation project and are integral to having a successful relocation.
Move Champions are nominated by their business unit manager, and officially appointed by the relocation committee.
They report to the relocation project manager during the project lifecycle.

All key stakeholders will have reporting responsibilities, and be expected to attend regular activities where reporting will take place.
Reporting the right information at the right meetings is key to getting the right people onboard and working in the same direction.
In this course, you will gain an understanding of the frequency of reporting and the audience who needs frequent updates in relocation projects.

Communication is essential.
The relocation project manager should initiate conversation with the building managers upon engagement and explain involvement in the project. Share what scope is known and relevant to the building managers.
Introductions should be made between the building managers and other key stakeholders who may be in touch during the planning.
It is important to provide an understanding of how many relocations there will be and whether these will be midweek, weekends or a combination of both.
In this course, you will gain an understanding of how to interact successfully with external key stakeholders.

The planning and execution of the physical relocation has the move date at the forefront throughout the accommodation project lifecycle. Pivotal to this is the role of the logistics specialists, the removalists.
The removals process will be procured throughout the planning phase of the relocation with the successful provider appointing a supervisor who will be a key role introduced to the wider project team respectively.
In this course, you will gain an understanding of how to interact successfully with removalist teams and develop key documents in collaboration with project stakeholders.

The Scope of Works document describes in detail what tasks or work is to be performed throughout the relocation lifecycle. It should contain all services, milestones, reports, and deliverables that are expected to be provided by the performing party.
The relocation project manager will prepare the Scope of Works document for discussion with the relocation committee. The project director or project control group will provide final approval for the document to be released.
This document will be provided as part of the relocation RFT.
In this course, you will gain an understanding of the scope of work for the procurement of the removals services and its related documents.

All stakeholders in the project, from the CEO to the cleaner, have a responsibility to not act or instruct others in any way that could cause potential risk to anyone who is part of the overall project including staff and passers-by.
In order to be OH&S compliant, every project will identify requirements and establish guidelines to follow. These guidelines come from the OH&S/WHS representative who liaise with all key stakeholders throughout the project’s lifecycle.
In this course, you will gain an understanding of the role of the OH&S/WHS representatives, the policies and guidelines to be observed throughout the relocation project, the project workplace risks, and the importance of Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS).
