SKILLINGS is proud to introduce the first leadership & management program designed specifically for business relocations. 

This program is essential for business relocation practitioners, logistics specialists, facilities managers, office managers, project managers, site supervisors, leading hands and business managers working within the commercial property industry.
    
The SKILLINGS Business Relocation Program has been designed by key industry experts who have had over 20 years experience in the commercial property industry and specialise in change management, relocation project management, records management, and property and procurement management ensuring participants receive the highest level of training to advance their skills and careers.

As the business relocation project leader the participant will explore how to effectively communicate, manage people and employ leadership skills to achieve a successful outcome to a business relocation project.  The student will understand how people are an integral part of any project team and how to get the best results from both an individual and team aspect.

​Eligibility for the SKILLINGS Removalist - Permanent Staff Course

Participants must have a minimum of two years experience in a management or supervisory role practising in:
  • project management;
  • facilities management;
  • business administration;
  • operations management; and
  • logistics.

Participants holding a management position or those with the responsibility to head up a project team for business relocations are eligible for this course.  Roles may include:
  • Facility Managers;
  • Operations Managers;
  • Project Managers;
  • Real Estate professionals; and
  • Business Managers. 

​There is an expectation that the participants whould have prior knowledge of basic project management principals and skills and should have sufficient experience in leading or working within a project environment.

Qualification Outcome

Through a strategic alliance with the Australasian Leadership Academy (RTO ID:41012), the successful completion of the program will result in a BSB00000 Diploma of Leadership & Management (majoring in Change) qualification. 


In addition, the learnings that will be achieved majoring in change and specialising in business relocations can be applied for the rest of the participants career with input to the many concurrent programs that run during any phase of the accommodation lifecycle. 

The BSB51915 Diploma of Leadership & Management qualification may also be used to gain entry into university to continue the participants education beyond this program, if desired.

Duration & Venue

The SKILLINGS Removalist - Permanent Staff Course​ is an online course and is delivered using a self paced model.

The program has an allocation of 12 months for completion, however as it is learner-centred and learner-directed, it allows for the participant to work at their own pace and course completion can be achieved earlier than the 12 months.
​
Participants will be required to make a comprehensive commitment to the program, to submit all necessary assessments, and will actively contribute to the requirements of the program.

Participants will need to complete an average of 4-5 hours study each week to complete the course in a 12 month period. 

What's in the Program?

The program follows the natural order of business relocation project management and includes: 
  • understanding relocation directives and strategies;
  • setting up relocation documents;
  • identifying project teams and key relocation stakeholder groups;
  • working with internal and external project teams;
  • procurement processes;
  • executing the physical move; and
  • closing out the project.

Our Assessors

The SKILLINGS Business Relocation Program is delivered by highly experienced trainers who understand the accommodation lifecycle and the context in which the participants operate. 

The trainers will present practical and extensive feedback to engage participants in the learning process.

Company Commitment to Program Participants

SKILLINGS believes it is beneficial for a company 'sponsor' to be nominated for each participant to assist the participant with the essential support and guidance to complete the program. 

The sponsor will be identified prior to the commencement of the program, and will engage in regular support conversations with the participant following each assessment.  The learning experiences will be enhanced for each participant by the skype/zoom meeting with the assessor following each assessment. 

​The company sponsor is welcome to participate in these allocated and previously assigned time slots.  

Cost, Funding & Application

$4,550 AUD

The cost of the course includes all learning resources, tools, texts, assessment activities, feedback sessions.  The cost of skype or zoom if the participant initiates the communication will be at the cost of the participant.  Any phone calls if required, will be at the cost of the participant.
