Professional Development Only (for 2025)

Consumer Protection (WA) has confirmed major CPD changes from 2026: the CPD year will move to 1 April–31 March, participants will complete five activities per year, and training providers will have a new approval process. We are not an approved provider for 2025 and our courses cannot be claimed for WA CPD points this year. We intend to seek approval under the 2026 provider process and will update this page once confirmed.

Who Must Comply

Licensed real estate agents, sales representatives, and property managers must meet CPD as a licence/registration condition.

Confirmed Changes

From 2026, CPD year changes to 1 Apr–31 Mar; five activities per year; new approval process for training providers. Training completed 1 Jan–31 Mar 2026 counts to the 2026–27 CPD year.

Can SKILLINGS Education Courses Count?

2025: No — we are not an approved provider; our courses are not claimable for WA CPD points this year. For 2025, SKILLINGS Education currently provides professional development only (useful for skills growth and team capability, but not for licence CPD). 2026: We plan to apply under the new provider approval process.

How to Claim/Recording Keeping

For approved activities, providers upload points; you should retain a certificate/record and maintain your CPD log (course, provider, date, points).

Types of Activities Accepted

For 2025, Mandatory activities set by Consumer Protection; Elective activities from the approved list (in-person/online). In-house training has specific point limits/conditions.

Evidence Needed

Certificate/record of completion and a personal CPD log; present on request.
