Real Estate Institute of Victoria (REIV)
Status Badge:
Claimable (Self-Reported)

REIV members need 10 CPD hours each year (1 Apr → 31 Mar), including the prescribed Ethics module. At least 5 hours must come from REIV/REIV-approved activity. The remaining hours can be external (e.g., SKILLINGS Education courses). You simply self-report external activities in the REIV Hub with your certificate (name, date, duration, learning outcomes). REIV reviews and allocates the hours at its discretion—no fee.

Update: Victoria is introducing mandatory CPD for the whole industry. Regulations are to be finalised in Nov 2025; CPD starts 25 Nov 2026 for agents and agents’ representatives (owners corporation managers follow in 2027). We’ll keep this page current as details are confirmed.
