They will follow a procurement plan that will vary depending on the goods and service being purchased, finding a coffee supplier may not involve all the same steps as purchasing a new fire suppression unit.
The aims of the procurement plan are to identify which vendor can best meet the organization's needs whilst remaining cost effective.
In this course, you will gain an understanding of key elements or procurement from ordering, stores management, hazards, and risks to vendor performance monitoring, as well as the importance of co-operating and facilitating the procurement team and vendors to ensure optimal stock and service delivery.
