After the Change Manager completes the Business Requirements gathering exercise to identify special business unit requirements (such as issues with the change ahead, and special users amongst other things), the Technology Work stream will follow up with a comprehensive desktop audit to identify those users with special software or hardware requirements/uses.
There should be continual opportunity for feedback to be gathered throughout the project when different initiatives are implemented.

Child Care is a hot topic when it comes to relocations.
It is important to get started early on discovery of where the Child Care Centers are in the vicinity of the new building. And get on the front foot with FAQs and a nominated Child Care Change Champion.
In this course, you will gain an understanding of the research requirements that need to be undertaken in the early stages of the Change Project and since Child Care Centers can have long wait lists, stakeholders may be demanding information frequently.

Relocation readiness activities may be initiated by the Relocation Committee or Project Working Group.
The term ‘relocation ready’ is used to identify when a business, business unit or individual is ready for relocation. The term ‘relocation readiness’ is used to describe tasks and activities that will assist in getting the business, business unit or individual ready for relocation.
In this course, you will gain an understanding of what is expected of the Change Manager and how they will share information and assist in distributing relocation messages to stakeholders in the business.

Business Unit Requirements diagnostic tool can be used to gather the sentiments of the leadership team, change leads and their teams. This diagnostic tool is often called a Change Impact Assessment but it can be looked as a Business Unit Requirements gathering exercise with specific sections talking to the change component, the IT component, the fit out and design and workplace components.
Gathering the business user requirements (BUR) will identify any known impacts, issues and concerns that might be barriers to the successful transition to the new office.
The BUR will be used throughout the change program and becomes a pivotal tool for keeping everyone on track of what needs to be resolved and reported on.
In this course, you will gain an understanding of the Business Unit Requirements (BUR), the steps to form BUR, and to consider if there are any cultural and behavioral issues that may impede the change and make a plan on how to address these issues in the program.

Experiential learning is the process of learning through experience, and is more specifically defined as ‘learning through reflection on doing’.
One of the most common experiential learning processes that a design team and change manager will embark upon is the staff engagement surveys or workshops where discovery, culture or brand, mind mapping and co-creation will be discovered.
In this course, you will gain an understanding of experiential learning, the common processes, and what can be achieved/uncovered from these workshops.
