The change/communications role in a relocation project may be combined or separate depending on the project structure and size of the relocating business.
This role is responsible for communicating information about the relocation to the business. Whether this role is held by one or two people, they will sit on the relocation committee.
A change manager will be a project-focused role and key to the success of the overall project. They will concentrate on the people-related changes in the project, creating and implementing strategies and plans that maximize employee adoption and minimize resistance to the impending change.
A communications manager will be responsible for conveying the businesses internal and external messages, both in a business as usual and project related sense. They will ensure that employees are aware of changes and projects occurring within the business.

The announcements come from different stakeholder groups and can have different purposes. Some of the purposes include advises of intent (Level 1 announcements), endorsement and assurance (Level 2 announcements), and the details of how and when (Level 3 announcements).

Information Packs serve as a primary communication link between the project team and the business.
They will support design and content delivery processes into the production environment and improve user engagement, adoption of new ways of working and provide heads up or outline service management change in processes. These are very important tools so make the effort to compile Information Packs and get everyone on the same page.
In this course, you will gain an understanding of Information Packs, their place and purpose in your project, as well as the different audience that the Change Manager will address via Information Packs throughout the whole of project cycle.

Project stakeholders need to be selected carefully. The stakeholder groups are important as they will lead and manage the accommodation project, and have a detailed role in the successful planning and execution of the workplace change project.
An organization chart is a diagram used to illustrate the relationship between all internal and external stakeholders in the overarching accommodation project. It ensures everyone understands who they will be working with during the project.
In this course, you will gain an understanding of organization chart, the governance structure a workplace change project follows, and the information the Change Manager will need to assist in the nomination and formal engagement of stakeholder groups.

An agenda is the list of all relevant topics that need to be addressed in a meeting, in the order in which they are to be addressed. Agendas usually include one or more specific items of business to be acted upon and allows time for each item to be dealt with.
An agenda may also be known as a meeting program or timetable, order of business, schedule, or calendar.
In this course, you will gain an understanding of the key features of meeting agendas, identify which source documents will influence your meeting agendas, and provide you with a base-line of agenda items you can use to leverage off.
